October 1, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actor Prosenjit is waiting in anticipation for the October 14 release of his film Autograph. During the interview the actor confirmed that the look for his upcoming film was inspired from a photo shoot that he did for the print media sometime ago.

The veteran actor is promoting his upcoming flick with a great panache. Reports suggest that he will walk the ramp in a renowned night club to promote his film. A special jacket with the autograph of Prosenjit has been designed especially for the fashion show. The jacket will be auctioned and the proceeds will be donated for the cause of the film industry.

Recently there were quite a few rumors about bad blood between Mithun and Prosenjit. The actor refuted all rumors and said that he considers Mithun one of his idols. The superstar confessed that he was moved to tears while watching Mithun’s performance in Guru.

The actor has agreed to be the celebrity judge for Mithun chakroborty’s ‘Dance Bangla Dance’. Prosenjit shares a special relationship with Mithun and considers him one of his idols in the film industry. The actor considers Mithun to be a more experienced actor than he is. Although there is one area where Prosenjit is better than Mithun, apparently the actor has been able to quit smoking while Mithun still struggles with the addiction.

September 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): October is going to be a huge month for the Telugu film industry. Some of the most anticipated movies of Tollywood are going to release this October. On October 1 the audience will be able to feast their eyes on Rajnikanth’s ‘Robot’ and within a matter of 7 days we will be able to feast our eyes on two mega movies ‘Khaleja’ and ‘Brindaavanam’. However now it seems that Jr. NTR’s movie Brindaavanam has run into a bit of storm. Sources reveal that the release date of Brindaavanam might be postponed by 7 days due to unavoidable circumstances.

Previously it was fixed that Brindaavanam will be released on October 8, 2010, right after the release of Mahesh Babu’s Khaleja. Dil Raju, the producer of Brindaavanam recently decided to postpone the release date of Brindaavanam because he wanted both Khaleja and Brindaavanam to make good collections at the box office.

On the other hand, Producers of Khaleja have maintained that the movie will release on October 7 as per the previous schedule. Thanks to the new decision it seems that the Telugu film lover will get to watch three superhit films on the first three weeks of October. September 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Renowned South Indian actress Namitha, who was last seen in the Kannada film Hoo, is back Kannada films again. She starred opposite Kannada film star V Ravichandran in this film and was a treat to watch but could not become successful at the Box Office.

The next Kannada film of the sensational actress is titled Namitha I Love You. The film will be produced by Raviteja Reddy under the banner of Jayasimha pictures. It has music, dialogues, story and screenplay by M Jayasimha Reddy, who is also the director of the movie.

The shooting for this movie was performed at MS Palya Sambrama College with Namitha. Diwakar is handling the camera in this film, which has Rajesh Brahmawar as the choreographer. The stunts will be handled by Thriller Manju.

The supporting roles in the movie are played by the actors like Shobana, Shivaprasad Gollahalli, Jayanthi, Prithviraj, Tennis Krishna, Bani Janardhan, Srikanth, Akshata Shetty and Dingri Nagaraj.

Namitha’s first Kannada film was Neelkanta, which was released in 2006. Later, she acted in the 2008 hit movie Indra. Her latest Kannada film Hoo was released in 2010 and was a great success.

September 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Veteran Malayalam actor Mukesh is going to play the role of a hardcore communist in his upcoming movie titled Priyappetta Nattukare. It will be his first film, where the actor will work as a Communist leader.

Sreejith Palery will be directing the movie, which will be produced under Grammy Entertainments banner. The script of the movie has been penned down by T K Santhosh.

The name of Mukesh’s character will be ‘Dasan’. The film will deal with the happenings in his life after he realizes the conspiracy behind many party dictums. The shooting for Priyappette Nattukare is expected to start soon.

Mukesh started his acting career in 1982 with the movie Balloon. Following this, the actor has worked in a series of slapstick comedy flicks and most of them were by renowned filmmaker Priyadarshan. Some of them are Ponnum Kudathinu Pottu, Boeing Boeing, Akkare Ninnoru Maran and Odaruthammava Aalariyaam.

Director Siddique-Lal gave him a big break in 1989 with the film Ramji Rao Speaking. After this film, he became established as a lead hero of Mollywood.

Again in the early nineties, Mukesh took up some low budget comedy films with Jagadeesh, Jayaram and Siddique. Most of these were commercial successes.

September 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Dhruv, the dumb and deaf actor of Kannada films, has signed yet another movie titled Mara LLB. Debutant director Murthy Kumar has taken up this project, which will be based on education.

Sudeep’s Ranga SSLC was the first Kannada movie to start this trend of making films on educational qualification. Some other movies on this line are 10th Class A Section, PUC, High School and 3Ne Class Manja B.com Bhagya. All of them vanished from the box office very soon without doing much business.

Dhruv debuted with the film Snehanjali in 2007 and later proved his acting skills with another movie titled Diana. His debut movie Snehanjali was applied for entry in Limca and Guinness World Record. The director Girish Kamplapur applied for it because a deaf and dumb hero has acted in the film for the first time. The actor received rave reviews for his wonderful performance in this movie.

In Mara LLB, the director Murthy has chosen a youth subject and the young students going on the wrong path will be again given a good message. The will be a mix of love and action with some twists and turns.

Radhamma is producing the movie, which will have Sinchana as the lead heroine opposite Dhruv. Music of the film will be scored by AT Ravish and KM Vishnuvardhana will handle the camera. The film will complete shooting in 45 days and it will be shot at Mysore, Bangalore, Devarayana Durga and Kari Ghatta.

September 29, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Mollywood had three big releases during the Ramzan month but the ultimate winner in this race has turned out to be superstar Mohanlal’s Shikaar. The two other Malayalam movies released during the period were Vande Mathram and Elsamma Enna Aankutty.

Shikaar had got a grand opening during the first few days and continued the success journey for first few weeks in almost all the major centers. It is the only movie among the three releasing during Ramzan that could maintain this trend. The movie has reportedly collected an amount of 3.5 crores as a distributor share from its first two weeks.

In the meantime, the Mammootty starrer Vande Mathram has failed to create magic at the Box Office. It is a bilingual movie, which was made with a budget of around 7 to 8 crore. However, it seems to have lost charm among the audience and is expected to earn not more than 3 crores from the box office. However, the producer is alleging lead actor Mammootty for not cooperating and showing lack of interest in this movie and according to him it is a big reason of the loss. He said that the film also got delayed for Mammootty. The producer further added that they had to cut some of the scenes as they were done badly by the actor.

The third movie in the race Elsamma Enna Aankutty has however done much better than Vande Mathram. It has been already declared as a hit and the director Lal Jose could manage even more viewers than Shikaar in some centers. It is running steady with audience coming to the theaters even on the third week.

September 29, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actor Abir Chatterjee is still basking in the success of his last movie Byomkesh Bokshi and this Friday his new movie Prem By Chance premiered. The film stars Abir Chatterjee and Koel mallick in lead roles the cast includes other veteran actors like Manoj Mitra, Suman Banerjee, Locket Chatterjee, Tanima Bose, Dapankar De and others. After playing the role of the Bengal’s favorite smooth talking sleuth, Abir is back as the smart street ruffian and plays the role perfectly. The director duo of Sudeshna and Abhijit got a superb performance out of this actor.

The plot of this movie revolves around a hot headed guy Raju, who is kind of a robin hood of the locality and likes to live life at the edge. Raju has a nemesis in Sanu (played by Suman Chatterjee), who is the boyfriend of Purna (Koel). As luck would have it the duo fall in love but do not realize it until the end of the movie. The abir-koel chemistry was superb throughout the movie and managed to pull the heart strings of the crowd.

Koel mallick plays her role as a bubble chirpy girl to perfection as well. The supporting cast gave a well rounded performance and helped take the story forward.
