February 15, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): With Vishal’s previous film ‘Sathyam’ and ‘Thoranai’ turning as big disappointments; the opening day (Feb 5) had very few audiences for his ‘Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai’. But later, as the film won commendable reviews by electronic media, the crowd has gradually increased in all centers now.
Since, Vishal is out on promotional tour across down south districts– Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Salem and Erode, the film hasn’t been screened to journalists and film critics. Precisely, with Sun Pictures promoting the film vigorously across all its media networks, ‘Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai’ is gradually coming-up with good collections at box office.
‘Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai’ is directed by debutant Thiru and is produced by Vishal’s home banner GK Films Corporation and Sun Pictures has acquired the rights. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s musical score and Aravind Krishna’s cinematography has been an added value for the film’s success.
Of course, the three hotties– Neetu Chandra, Tanushree Dutta and Sarah Jane have offered a grand glamorous treat for young groups.
