Karunakaran Directs Ram

July 20, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Karunakaran will be seen directing the handsome hero Ram in a new project real soon. Karunakaran has gained a following as the director of youthful and highly entertaining movies.

The box office hasn’t been too merciful for Ram. His movies like ‘Maska’, ‘Ganesh’ and the recently released ‘Rama Rama Krishna Krishna’ had also received a tepid response. Ram now hopes to revive his celluloid career, now that Karunakaran has taken him under his protection so to speak!

Karunakaran’s latest movies ‘Ullasamga Utsahamga’ and ‘Darling’ starred Prabhas were highly enjoyable and raked in quite a lot of moolah from the box office. Karunakaran’s forte lies in the fact that he can come up with delightful screenplay and rib-tickling comic dialogues.

It won’t be wrong to say that Karunakaran has the proverbial Midas touch. He has proved his worth again and again at the Telugu box office, and thus Ram’s optimism of a personal box office revival is very justified.
