March 5, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Kamal Hassan’s daughter may not have made much of a mark in Bollywood with her debut in Luck, but she does not seem to have lost heart. This time, she is back in a new avatar– that of a music director. The perky Ms Hassan has rented an apartment in Mumbai, and has plans to form a new musical band here. In addition, she has been discussing prospective projects with leading music directors, sources say.
“I am so elated with the appreciation I have received for my musical debut, in ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’,” she enthuses. “Now I have decided to work simultaneously on my music and my acting. I have been listening to various scripts, and none of them struck me as special,” she pouts.
Although she has denied any link-up with Siddharth, who was seen with her at the 55th Filmfare Awards, we wonder if her shifting to Mumbai has anything to do with him.
