July 16 (Sampurn Wire): American pop and rock singer Pink has been rushed to hospital as she fell down from the harness to a steel barricade while performing in Nuremberg, Germany on Thursday night thus ending the show immediately.
The 30-year-old singer, who loves to acrobat, was on a European tour with shows at Helsinki in Finland, St. Petersburg in Russia, and Prague in the Czech Republic. Pink fell down suddenly when her stance, on stage, went badly wrong during a particularly difficult move. She was performing on a harness high above the stage.
On her way to hospital, she tweeted for the fans from ambulance. Pink posted, “I am sorry my fans of Nuremberg. I am feeling very embarrassed. Now, I am in ambulance and will get well soon”.
It is not disclosed yet, on which number she was performing then. However, it was probably her show-stopping number ‘Glitter in the Air’, which earned her a standing ovation at the Grammy Awards this year.
Alicia Moore, which is the real name of the singer, tweeted again to explain the accident. She posted, “I could not clip into the harness properly, which drag me off stage and I fell on the barricade”.
It was really surprising that the singer kept her fans updated about her condition throughout her visit to the hospital. She continued, “Nothing was broken, no fluid gathered in the lungs, just paining seriously. Getting the X-Rays, I hope this looked cool at least. Thanks Nuremberg”.
Carey Hart, on-off husband of Pink, also tweeted about his girl falling on-stage and is recovering now.
However, there is no revelation on her forthcoming performances on her Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour. She will go with her schedule for the performances in Eastern Europe, making stops in Russia, Germany, Finland, the Czech Republic, Norway, Denmark, and Sweden.
